Braedon Nielsen
Financial Advisor
Braedon is a dedicated financial advisor driven by a passion for finance and a genuine desire to help people navigate life’s financial decisions. He began his career in 2017 at Waddell & Reed, choosing financial advising over a traditional analyst role because of his love for relationships and helping others pursue meaningful goals.
His interest in finance began at a young age, learning firsthand the power of saving and intentional money management. From saving birthday and Christmas money to purchase his first Game Boy, he discovered that money itself wasn’t the reward—it was what money could do. That early lesson continues to shape his philosophy today: money is a tool that helps people live the lives they want to live.
As a financial advisor, Braedon focuses on helping families and individuals make sense of their financial world, refine their goals, and align their finances to support those goals. His areas of focus include retirement income planning, investment planning, cash flow management, and insurance.
Raised in Montana, Braedon moved to Nebraska before high school and later attended the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in finance. He resides in Lincoln with his wife, daughter, son, and their Frenchton. He is actively involved in Lincoln Berean Church, and outside of work enjoys golfing, playing slow-pitch softball, and spending time with friends at local coffee shops.
